Written by - The Education Committee is supporting work on marriage resources, monitoring major changes affecting Catholic education. The committee remains small but active.
- VAGWA is actively supporting the 16 Days of Activism campaign and progressing several task-and-finish groups, including work on annulments, the intersection of exploitation and pornography, and racial justice. They plan to update the domestic abuse handbook and have an academic article under peer review.
- The Women in the Church Committee are looking to develop their webinar schedule for next year while also preparing for their in-person day in March 2027.
- The Ecumenical Committee are taking part in the World Day of Prayer preparations. Other ecumenical events are progressing, with a speaker still needed for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. A new committee convener will be appointed in the new year.
- The International Committee plans a spring webinar to clarify the many international bodies NBCW is connected with. The Andante meeting will take place in Walsingham in September 2026.
