Main Points
- Some items were removed from the agenda to be taken forward to the next meeting.
- Safeguarding was added to the agenda and will be a standing item going forwards.
- Amy and Jacintha will be meeting with Bishop Bosco on the 7th March.
- The Charitable Trust will be applied to in order to fund training for Dioscean Links.
- Formation 2026 will focus on accompanying women at different stages of their lives.
- The work of the executive and committees should be published more regularly on the website with a long-term progress-sharing approach rather than formal reports.
- The EGM on Wednesday 19th March at 7pm will follow a simple format of Welcome, prayer and vote. Under the current constitution this will be an open vote that takes place through the chat function so that there can be a record.
- There is no issue with individuals choosing to become members of other organisations, but there is no clear reason for the organisation itself to join CSAN as we are not a social action group.
- Despite not being a member, we continue to collaborate with CSAN, just as we do with CAFOD, SVP, and other Catholic organisations.
- At the AGM a record will be made of members who have completed safeguarding training and the free CSSA training will be signposted.
