Questions for Catholic Women 2026

The NBCW is asking for responses to two questions in the preparation of the organisation’s annual statement to the Bishop’s Conference.

These questions have been devised by the NBCW members and agreed by Bishop Bosco, our Bishop liaison.

We would like all the returns to be in to our administrator, by Friday the 29th of May. These questions will form the basis of our In Person Day on June 13th with a final report passed to the Bishop’s Conference in September.

There is no right or wrong way on how to do this and all responses are welcome:

  • You may gather a small group within your parish
  • You may gather a network of women interested in the issue
  • You may send the questions out by email or newsletter
  • You may prefer to put a notice in parish bulletins
  • You may want to host a coffee morning in your own parish
  • You may want to host an online gathering across the diocese.

Responses are also welcome in many forms:

  • If you’re meeting in person you may find it easier to submit key themes, direct quotes or even a posterboard!
  • We can supply groups with response postcards with the questions on one side and space to write on the other side which you can use as a group or give out to individuals.
  • If you’re meeting online you may prefer a video response or a collaborative document.
  • Your group may struggle with one question but have a lot to say on another
  • Your group may say “we don’t understand what the question is asking” and that is another form of feedback in itself.

However you’d like to respond, and however many responses you have we would like to hear from you!
