Who are we walking with in Synodality?

NBCW Ecumenical Committee invite you to:

Who are we walking with in synodality?

Ecumenism and the synodal church.

Synodality, which emphasizes collaboration, listening, dialogue, and shared decision-making, invites us to reflect on who we walk with as we navigate the path of faith together with our fellow Christians.

Please join Professor Clare Watkins in a compelling webinar as she explores the intersection of ecumenism, and the synodal journey of the Church.

About Professor Clare Watkins
Professor Clare Watkins leads the research project “Conversations, Culture, and communion: networking for church vitality and health” at the Centre for Catholic Studies, Durham University.

Following on from the Boundary Breaking project researching the impacts of clergy sexual abuse in the Catholic Church in England and Wales, her work uses participative practice: engaged theological methods to widen the conversation, and generate new theological thinking and church practice in response to what can be learned from the wounds of abuse and cover-up.

Clare also has worked for many years with the Dicastery for Christian Unity, serving on both the Methodist-Roman Catholic International Dialogue Commission, and the working group for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
